At home, start the day with coffee on your comfortable front patio, then step inside to make some breakfast in the full kitchen. Throughout the home, you’ll find coastal decor and tons of space to spread out, including a completely enclosed sunroom, a living room, and a family room with a TV and cozy leather furnishings. After a day on the sand, relax at home in the central AC while you pop in a DVD or watch some complimentary cable. Use the WiFi to upload the day’s pics to social media, then host a family cookout on the gas grille. Drift off to sleep in either well-appointed bedroom - another dreamy beach day awaits tomorrow.

Getting the most from your rental home budget:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in the Beaufort, NC area. To find the best value, try shifting your family's Beaufort, NC vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good reviews to inspire future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
