Atlantic Beach vacation rental tips and tricks:

How to get the best rental value:

  • In the Beaufort, NC area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Reserving your rental home six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking your Beaufort, NC vacation rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, NC area visitor guide magazines which include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, NC visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to choose the perfect vacation home:

  • Select your vacation dates and budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. SNOWBIRDS! Contact us for Monthly Rates - Nov-Feb! Townhouse-Steps from beach! has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally accessible online. If they are not listed, call the property manager before you reserve the home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to establish what configuration is right for your group.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Often, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's an individual Beaufort, NC attraction you love, look for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental

More tips for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few concerns.
  • Lock your rental while you're out and about. Protect your property!
  • Document any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the host. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be valuable if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors bothering your quiet neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected everything. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the host is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a excellent vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
