Welcome to Shore is Fun! This refreshed home is ready to host your next vacation! Technically, it’s a duplex with two kitchens and two living areas—but it’s rented as a single-family home, making it ideal for two (or more) families to vacation together. Located just 300 feet from the beach and only one row back from the Bogue Sound, you'll savor simple access to both!

Inside, an adjoining door accepts you to appreciate time together and still have a bit of privacy. With a complete remodel in 2023, the updates include new floors, fresh paint, modern cabinets, updated appliances, a new front deck, and more!

Bring along your well-behaved pup to enjoy the rare, fenced backyard! This 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home (2BR/1BA on each side) is packed with amenities, like Intelligent TVs in every bedroom and living area (just remember to log out of your apps!). The kitchens are completely outfitted with enormous and modest appliances—think air fryer, crock pot, coffee maker, blender, and more.

Unwind on the new front deck with rocking chairs for sunsets, or kick back on the ocean-view deck’s sectional couch (complete with a gate for added safety). The fenced backyard features a gas grille and a shaded porch hangout area, plus two enclosed hot/cold outdoor showers to rinse off after beach days.

This home is designed for creating memorable family moments! Smoking is not allowed. Typical stays run Sunday to Sunday, but flexible dates are available depending on the season. Linens (linens, bath towels, and kitchen towels) are supplied with beds made. Animals are welcome with a $250 non-returnable pet fee per dog (up to two dogs).

Vacation rental home tips and tricks:

When to reserve a Beaufort, NC rental home & When to go:

  • Summer months are high season in the Beaufort, NC area. To get the best value, try shifting your trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, NC visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines contain offers and deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Selecting and booking the perfectvacation home:

  • Begin by selecting trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration you need. Dogs OK! Steps away from the beach ~ 4BR! has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually available on booking pages. Otherwise, email the property manager before you book the home. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to establish what is best for your vacation group.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Remember to confirm all required amenities are included before booking
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you must book a property that allows animals. Request specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.

Advice for your stay:

  • Add the property manager's contact info to your smartphone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Upon check-in, record any issues with the property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a fantastic source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
