Welcome to the HIDDEN GEM of Atlantic Beach! Originally the Captain's Bridge Motel in the 1970s, the interior of this PANORAMIC OCEAN VIEW UNIT has been completely remodeled into a CLEAN Stylish Modern Condo in 2019. One of only two units in the building DIRECTLY facing the ocean and the only unit with OCEAN, SUNSET, & POOL VIEWS! There is no "shared air" as there is no enclosed lobby and the unit has an individual wall mounted a/c. Please see the aerial photo that indicates the unit location and the close proximity to the beach. Walk across the lawn through our PRIVATE GAZEBO to access a SECLUDED beach ideal for peaceful strolls, shelling, and sunbathing!

The interior of the building has been entirely modernized into a modren modern condo in 2019. It is furnished with a comfortable queen size bed, full size couch sleeper, kitchenette w/ appliances, bespoke tile shower, SMART TV, and WiFi. PRIME OCEANFRONT LOCATION! Panoramic Ocean Vistas directly from your unit! Savor your morning coffee or evening glass of wine on the wraparound shared balcony seating area or walk to either of the two Gazebos to feel the Fresh Ocean Breeze. Ideal for couples, singles, and families with modest kids. An Outdoor Pool, 3 Charcoal BBQ Grills, 2 Gazebos, and a fish cleaning station are available to guests.

Please note that this unit's shower has been refreshed. We elected to provide a full size shower and due to space considerations we took out the bathroom vanity. The kitchen sink serves as the only sink in the unit. We have found this an appropriate use of the space, but we want guests to know ahead of time.

There is no daily maid service but towel swap outs can be arranged for $10 upon request (paid directly to the cleaning service). There is a coin operated laundry room on site for longer stay guests.

Many local eateries/stores are within walking distance. Dollar General is right across the street and Food Lion is just a mile away. Additional eateries, a movie theater, and a shopping center are a short drive away.

Ideal hideaway for a charming weekend, or a family getaway ...watch dolphins splash from the oceanside gazebo ... don’t miss the sunset over the ocean waves .... walk the sandy beach ... build a sandcastle with the kids ... surf cast for one of the many varieties of fish in our ocean waters ... watch surfers hang ten.... Jet-ski or Parasail ... take a jog, or ride your bicycle on the new Atlantic Beach bicycle trail ... feel the wind through your hair on the new Cape Lookout ferry... check out the wild Spanish ponies of Shackleford Banks.... take the kids to the new Atlantic Beach recreation park... and don't forget the marvelous NC Aquarium!

Located in Atlantic Beach, this condo is on the beach. Country Club of the Crystal Coast and Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area and Rachel Carson Reserve. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Big Rock Stadium or Cougar Stadium.
