Tips and Tricks to get the perfect Beaufort, NC vacation rental experience:

Finding your best deal:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitors guides contain offers and deals for nearby accommodations and attractions.
