Tips and Tricks to get the perfect vacation rental experience:

Find your perfect vacation home:

  • In the Beaufort, NC area, The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Reserve your rental in Fall or Spring to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, NC area visitor guides that include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, NC area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Planning, selecting, and booking the perfect Beaufort, NC rental home:

  • Start by choosing your trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Summer Winds 403: Oceanfront 2BR 2BA, Complex Amenities! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is almost always available on booking websites. If they are not listed, reach out to the property manager before you reserve the property. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or charges may be applied to your agreement.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .

Considerations for your stay:

  • Add the owner's information to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, stereo or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few difficulties.
  • Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Protect your property!
  • To make sure damages are not attributed to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon your arrival. text the host right away to document any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a excellent vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
