Strategies to get the optimal Beaufort, NC rental home experience:

When to go & When to reserve a rental home:

  • In the Beaufort, NC area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Summertime is high season in the Beaufort, NC area. To find the best rental within budget, we strongly suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Beaufort, NC attractions.
  • Some property managers offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.

You can also find Beaufort, NC area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Selecting the best rental in the Beaufort, NC area:

  • Begin by choosing your trip dates and a budget.

Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or costs might be applied to your invoice.
  • Visiting for a single attraction? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental

Advice for a smooth stay:

  • Add the property manager's information to your phone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep the property locked while you are gone! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
  • Record any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a fantastic resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Re-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at departure. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a terrific time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
