When you stay here, you just might not leave the resort during your vacation. An abundance of onsite amenities and activities are enough to keep you and your kids busy during your stay. These include multiple swimming pools, sports courts, resort activities, miniature golf, and, of course, private beach access. This two-bedroom vacation condos is equipped with a cavernous living area and full kitchen, the ideal place to make a fast meal before you head back to the sand and surf. My family has been going here since 1979. We drive in from Atlanta and definitely adore the family friendly environment that is much less busy than the FL beaches. Atlantic Beach is one of the homes of Black Beard the Pirate, host of a national Blue Marlin fishing tournament, and has museums like Fort Macon. The history of this place is a must see.

• Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
• Did you have a wonderful stay? Many rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
