How to get the best Beaufort, NC rental experience:

Sticking to a spending budget:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Beaufort, NC area. Booking your vacation rental in Spring or Fall is a great way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
  • Hosts sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, NC visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guides contain offers and deals for local tours and attractions.

Planning and picking a perfectvacation home:

  • Start by having your group select the best dates and a max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the configuration your group requires. Soundside Sunset-Gorgeous Soundfront Condo has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, email or call the property owner before you book the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds.
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or might be applied to your contract.
  • If there's an individual Beaufort, NC destination you crave, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

More considerations:

  • We recommend storing the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Keep the property locked while you are gone! Don't let burglars spoil your holiday.
  • Upon check-in, document any damages to the property and immediately contact the property manager. Record all coorespondence.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to drive future reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
