Finding the best rental experience:

Getting the best value:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Owners sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Many rental management companies supply Beaufort, NC area visitor guides that include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, NC visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Planning and picking a perfect Beaufort, NC vacation home:

  • Select a designated group leader, select your vacation week, and select a max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Video Overview - EV Charger, Pool, Fishing, Park. Built in 2022. has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally available online. Otherwise, email the property owner before reserving the rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to determine which bed configuration is suitable for your vacation group.
  • If there's a specific Beaufort, NC destination you crave, browse homes that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly rental. Request information on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.

Tips to have a terrific stay:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental. Store the host's information in your smartphone.
  • During check-in, document any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and look for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on good feedback to drive new reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will will be grateful for your feedback find their best rental home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
