Our top Vacation rental tips:

How to get the best value:

  • The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • To find the best value, try shifting your vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer great weather, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group.
  • Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Many rental management companies supply Beaufort, NC area visitor guide magazines which will include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, NC visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Choose vacation dates and maximum budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. RARE \"DOUBLE UNIT\" BEAUTIFUL Deluxe Studio Condo just steps to the ocean! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is often accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, contact the property management company before booking the rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or applied to your invoice.
  • If there's an individual Beaufort, NC beach you are crazy about, browse rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Advice for a smooth stay:

  • We recommend storing the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent many concerns.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let thieves spoil your vacation.
  • At Check-in, record any issues with the property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are an excellent source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
