Located within walking distance of the Atlantic Beach Boardwalk and miles of pristine sands in either direction, this updated, four-bedroom duplex is a ideal option for your next big family hideaway to Bogue Banks! Appreciate the radiant North Carolina sunshine while you sample multiple beaches, discover Fort Macon State Park, or visit the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, just five-and-a-half miles west.

While there are multiple eateries within walking distance, these side-by-side units both boast well-equipped, full kitchens with stainless steel appliances to make meal prep a joy. You'll also find dining areas (a breakfast bar with counter seating in one unit and a table and chairs in the other) and comfortable living spaces for socializing and entertaining. Outside, relax and watch the world go by from the furnished porch or the upper-level balconies, or head to the back yard where younger guests can run and play.

For sleeping options, choose from four comfortable bedrooms, all furnished with plush queen-size beds.

Located in Atlantic Beach, this vacation home is by the sea. North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and North Carolina Maritime Museum are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Coral Bay Shopping Center and Morehead Plaza Shopping Center. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway and Mount Maker Charters are also worth visiting.

Cost saving strategies:

  • Booking your vacation home in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies often offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.

  • Lock your rental home while you are away. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • At departure, complete a walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a wonderful stay? Many rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
