Rental property booking tips:

When to go & When to reserve a Atlantic Beach rental home:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Atlantic Beach. To get the best value, try changing your family's Beaufort, NC vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer pleasant temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • In the Beaufort, NC area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitor guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Choosing and booking a perfectrental:

  • Choose a group leader, select your vacation dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Southwinds G17 - 2 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, Almost Oceanfront Condo! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally available online. Otherwise, contact the host before reserving your home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Visiting for a single event or attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly property. Get information on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Save the directions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • To ensure that no damages are attributed to your visit, make note of any problem areas during arrival. E-mail the rental manager immediately to record any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a terrific resource to find the best local scenic spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental home while you're out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good reviews to compel new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation rental. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
