Tips and Tricks to get the best Beaufort, NC vacation property experience:

When to go & When to reserve a Beaufort, NC rental home:

  • The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • To book the best rental within your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Hosts sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, NC area magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guide magazines contain deals for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Selecting the best vacation rental in Atlantic Beach:

  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Updated 3rd-Floor Home With Courtyard & Partial Beach View, Shared Pools\/Hot Tub has 1 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, NC vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is often accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property owner before booking the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to establish which bed configuration is right for your group.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or charges may be applied to your agreement.
  • Are you looking for specific amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.

  • Document any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an excellent resource to find the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to make sure you didn't forget anything. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
