Finding the best rental experience:

Sticking to a spending budget:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in Pine Knoll Shores. To book the most suitable vacation home within your budget, we suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers often offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, NC area visitors guide magazines that include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Choosing and booking your Beaufort, NC vacation home:

  • First and foremost, have your family decide on dates and a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. GORGEOUS CONDO WITH GREAT VIEWS IS NOW RENTING DURING THE OFF SEASON! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is commonly available online. Otherwise, contact the property owner before reserving the rental. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or might be applied to your invoice.
  • If there's a certain Beaufort, NC attraction you love, browse homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. .

Advice for your stay:

  • Get the host's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental. We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • To ensure that no damages are linked to your visit, note any problem areas during check in. Speak to the rental manager right away to record your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors bothering your life at home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a great stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
