Getting the best Atlantic Beach rental experience:

Get the best rental value:

  • Summer time is high season in the Beaufort, NC area. Book your Beaufort, NC vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, NC area magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines contain discounts for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Choosing and booking a perfect Beaufort, NC rental:

  • First and foremost, have your group decide on dates and a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration you need. The Hamptons, Oceanfront Duplex in Atlantic Beach, NC! has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible online. If not, email the property manager before you book the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or could be applied to your agreement.

More tips for your visit:

  • Add the owner's phone number to your smartphone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Record any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are very helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are away! Don't let burglars spoil your holiday.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a wonderful time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
