Fairfield Harbour offers an array of amenities, including land and water sports, river cruises, live entertainment, and opportunities to discover New Bern's 300 years of historical treasures.

The Space:
At Fairfield Harbour step into your new home away from home. You'll adore your 2 bedroom/2 bath deluxe condo that is 1417-1458 sq ft! The master bedroom has a queen bed, an attached en suite and jetted tub. The second bedroom has two queen beds and access to a bathroom. In the living room there is a queen couch sleeper, and access to the balcony/patio where you can appreciate the sights with your guests. This condo can accommodate up to 8 guests!  A full kitchen and a dinning room, accepts you the option to prepare your own meals and savor the convenience of dining in. It also includes a washer and dryer in-unit. With all the necessary amenities, and so much fun to have at the resort, you're sure to make many amazing memories!

About the Area

Located in New Bern, this condo is next to a golf course and on a lake. Greater Good Art Gallery and New Bern Civic Theatre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Northwest Creek Marina and New Bern Grand Marina.

Getting the most from your budget:

• The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
• June, July, and August are high season in the Beaufort, NC area. Booking your vacation home in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
• Some property managers offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
• Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
• Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitors guides contain deals for nearby accommodations and attractions.

• Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or may be applied to your agreement.
• If there's a particular Beaufort, NC beach you crave, browse rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
• Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.

Advice for a fantastic stay:

• Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your phone.
• Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
• Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would back home.
• Upon arrival, note any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Record all coorespondence.
• Be respectful of your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
• Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
• Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Go through the property one final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
• Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
