Forget your worries in this cavernous home. A two-min. walk or golf cart ride to the beach and sound is what makes this property so special.

Our home is located on the center of the island. Come, stay awhile in Salter Path. You will adore the area and never want to leave this "Happy Place."

An Open Floor Plan on the top level and two patio/deck areas are among our favorites at this property. There are plenty of spaces to have community/conversations with those you appreciate best, whether inside or outside.

There is a fire pit on the top deck for cooler months, grilles for all the outdoor cooking, and plenty of space to have your coffee in solitude.

Each bedroom has its own intelligent tv to stream your preferred shows, as well as for "gaming."

An Outside Lift is available to transport bags and groceries to each level of the home. While it’s not for humans, it’s an striking addition to the home to make carrying items multiple levels much easier.

Eateries, Grocery Stores, Seafood Markets, and Shopping are within 15 mins. on either side of the island, some accessible by golf cart in Salter Path.

Beach Chairs and Umbrellas are available. Also feel complimentary to use the Beach Cart that is located under the home. Beach Towels are also supplied.

Be sure to visit Anchor Pizza, Crab-Shack, Scoops Ice Cream, Big Oak, and the famed food truck, Captain's Kitchen, during your stay, all local to the area; all within walking distance or a short golf cart ride.

Vacation rental booking tips:

Getting the most from your rental home budget:

  • To get the best value, consider shifting your family's Beaufort, NC vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, NC area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines contain deals for nearby accommodations and attractions.

How to choose the perfect vacation rental:

  • First, have your group choose the best dates and a budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Delightful, newly built 4-bedroom house in Indian Beach. has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible online. Otherwise, reach out to the property owner before you reserve the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction? Use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or costs may be applied to your agreement.

Advice for your stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
  • Note any issues with the property during check in, and immediately contact the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are valuable if a dispute is filed.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of difficulties.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on good ratings to stimulate new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
