How to book the best Beaufort, NC vacation property experience:

Sticking to a budget:

  • Summer time is high season in Atlantic Beach. Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, NC area magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitor guides have deals for local tours, shops, and attractions.

Make a plan and pick your prefect Beaufort, NC vacation home:

  • Begin by choosing your vacation dates and a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Ocean Sands 204A, Oceanside Condo in Atlantic Beach, NC! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible on booking websites. If not, email the property manager before booking your rental. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to determine which bed configuration is right for your family.
  • If there's a particular Beaufort, NC attraction you crave, look for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or costs might be applied to your invoice.

More tips for your visit:

  • Add the owner's contact information to your phone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • To make sure that damages are not attributed to your stay, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. Get in touch with the host immediately to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers disrupting your home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental property while you are gone! Don't let crooks ruin your vacation.
  • Upon check-out, take a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget any personal items. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and look for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a great stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
