  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. More tips for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property.

  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors bothering your life at home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental while you're away. Protect your property!
  • On check-out day, take a walk-through to make sure you didn't forget anything. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to drive new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
