Booking the best Beaufort, NC vacation rental experience:

Sticking to your spending plan:

Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • To get the most suitable vacation home within budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Many management companies supply Beaufort, NC area travel guide magazines that include special deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, NC visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Planning, selecting, and booking your prefect Beaufort, NC rental home:

  • Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your family requires. The Beach Hive: Ocean view condo in the heart of Emerald Isle has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally available on booking pages. Otherwise, contact the host before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches.
  • Some properties allow pets, and some do not. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable breeds and types before booking.
  • If there's an individual Beaufort, NC attraction you love, search for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property. Store the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few issues.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Protect your property!
  • Document any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • On check-out day, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a wonderful stay? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
