How to book the best Beaufort, NC vacation home experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Reserve your Beaufort, NC vacation in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, NC area visitor guides which include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Selecting the best vacation home in the Beaufort, NC area:

  • First, have your group choose a vacation week and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your family requires. Ocean Club C304, Oceanfront Condo in Indian Beach, NC! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible on booking pages. If not, email the property manager before you book the home. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly vacation rental. Ask for details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some hosts charge additional pet fees.
  • Visiting for a single event or attraction? Use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. .

Have a great stay:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent lots of problems.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • To make sure that damages aren't attributed to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon check in. message the host immediately to relay any issues. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be respectful. Often, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • At departure, take a walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a terrific vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
