Tips for getting the perfect rental home experience:

Sticking to your spending plan:

  • To get the best value, shift your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer pleasant weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Booking websites often offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Beaufort, NC visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines contain coupons for local tours, shops, and attractions.

How to choose and book yourvacation home:

  • Choose a group leader, select your vacation week, and select a budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Ocean Club C304, Oceanfront Condo in Indian Beach, NC! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly available on booking websites. If not, reach out to the host before you book your home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You will need to establish what is suitable for your vacation family.
  • If there's an individual Beaufort, NC beach you are crazy about, keep an eye out for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
  • If your group is traveling with pets, search for a pet-friendly rental. Make sure to ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Get the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental. We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • During check-in, record any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent many issues.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your peaceful home. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a terrific stay? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
