Finding the best Atlantic Beach vacation property experience:

When to visit Atlantic Beach & When to reserve a Atlantic Beach rental home:

  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Beaufort, NC area. To find the best value, consider shifting your vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warm temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guide magazines have offers and deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

How to choose the best rental in Atlantic Beach:

  • Begin by selecting a vacation week and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Barefoot Beach Club North: Your Beachside Haven has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually available online. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before you reserve the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to work out what configuration is optimal for your vacation.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you will need a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some hosts charge additional pet fees.
  • Visiting for a specific event? Try a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Advice for a wonderful stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many issues.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • To make certain damages aren't linked to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas during arrival. text the host immediately to report any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on good ratings to drive new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
