Welcome to Beach Retreat West. This 2nd row duplex has it all. Appreciate great ocean and sound vistas without the oceanfront rental prices. This home is in superb condition, with over 2000 sq. feet of living space. View the ocean or sound from every single room in the home. Walk out onto the decks, and the ocean vistas will take your breath away. I promise, once you have been here for a week, or two, you will never want to leave.

You will wake up in the mornings, walk out onto the decks, and gaze out over the handsome Crystal Coast. Take a deep breath and you will smell Emerald Isle's salty air. This home has four bedroom, with queen beds (all with deck/balcony access), a kids' loft/entertainment area (four twin beds), with TV/VCR/DVD. There is also a sizable collection of books, movies, games, puzzles, and a stereo system all there for your enjoyment.

Cook all your favorite foods in the completely supplied kitchen, while you look out the window at the ocean. Dine in and entertain in the huge, open living/ dining room. Watch t.v on the flat screen TV, while calming on the couch.

Step out on the deck the take in the beautiful vistas of the beach from both directions. If you watch carefully, you may even catch a glimpse of dolphin swimming by. If the sun gets too hot for you on top, walk downstairs, where you can appreciate a covered deck that provides tons of shade.

One of my favorite amenities with this home is the beach access. There is a wooden walkway directly across the street that leads you straight to the beach. This is extremely important if you are like me, with five kids and it seems like you bring everything but the kitchen sink with you. We always have so much to carry back and forth, that having the convenience of the beach access is priceless.

Finally, after a fun-filled day on the beach, put the kids to bed and walk back out onto the deck. Sit back and look at the moon as it shines over the ocean. This view will just put an exclamation point on your day. Get a good nighttime sleep and get ready to do it all over again tomorrow.

Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses.   • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed everything at check-out. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on good ratings to propel future reservations. They'll be thankful for your review.
