Want the RV experience but don’t have an RV? That's not a problem! If you are considering purchasing an RV and want to try out RV living without buying one, we have added an RV to our vacation units. It is a 2022, 28-foot 5th Wheel with two slides that we are now renting as a Vacation Rental. It has a queen-sized bed with plenty of storage space for all your belongings, a full kitchen and bath, a Intelligent TV, a fireplace in the living room and bedroom, and a dining area/living room area. The RV sleeps two comfortably, but the dining room booths convert to a double bed.

The RV is close to the Intracoastal Waterway and a short distance to Historic Beaufort, Havelock, Newport, Morehead City, and Atlantic Beach. Bring your boat, you have complimentary access to the boat ramp and fishing pier. We have boats to rent for ½ and a full day on-site. We can hook (no pun intended) you up with a charter boat if you want to fish offshore. Downtown Beaufort has an array of fantastic stores and amazing eateries. When you book, we will give you a map of the area, coupons, and a special offer when you return!

Tips to get the optimal Beaufort, NC vacation property experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To get the best value, consider changing your family's Beaufort, NC vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer weather, , and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, NC area magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines contain coupons for local tours and attractions.

More tips for your visit:

  • Put the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Make a record of any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are very helpful if a dispute arises.
  • Respect your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to confirm you did not forget anything. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent reviews to inspire future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
