Strategies to get the optimal Beaufort, NC rental experience:

Finding the best rental home value:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is high season in the Beaufort, NC area. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property management companies typically offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local Beaufort, NC area magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guides contain discounts for nearby tours and attractions.

Planning and picking the best Beaufort, NC vacation home:

  • Start by selecting trip dates and a budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration you need. Pet Friendly, Ocean Front, 3 Ensuite BR! has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible online. Otherwise, email the property management company before you reserve the rental. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You will need to establish what configuration is suitable for your group.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or charges may be applied to your contract.
  • If there's a certain Beaufort, NC attraction you simply love, look for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Advice for a wonderful stay:

  • Add the host's phone number to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Keep the property locked while you're out! Don't let thieves spoil your holiday.
  • Note any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great source for finding the best local spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a excellent stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
