Booking the best Beaufort, NC rental experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Atlantic Beach. Reserve your vacation in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers typically offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, NC visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides contain offers and deals for local accommodations and attractions.

Filter your rental search:

  • Begin by selecting your trip dates and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. The Mireille - Cozy Atlantic Beach House just a 4 minute walk from the beach! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible on booking pages. If not, call the property owner before you reserve the rental. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to determine what configuration is optimal for your vacation group.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to find a property that allows animals. Get information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a particular Beaufort, NC destination you are enamored with, browse rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental

More tips for your stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Save the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
  • Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let burglars ruin your family vacation.
  • To make certain damages aren't linked to your family's visit, record any problem areas during arrival. Make contact with the host immediately to relay any damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a great vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
